Q3. Do caregivers (family members, friends) also need to install the App?
A3. Yes, the App must be installed to receive fall alerts, SOS alerts, and to access Life Guardian and Health Guardian information.

Q4. When setting up XC109 or XC209, the elderly user’s phone cannot connect to the necklace device (tag).
A4. There are two possible reasons:

Reason 1: The tag is already connected to another phone.
Solution: You need to first [unbind the device] from the currently connected phone via the App, then reconnect it to the elderly user's phone.

Reason 2: The elderly user's phone has not granted "Location" or "Position" permissions.
Solution: On the elderly user’s phone, go to [Settings] → [Apps] → Find "MyGuardian Care" App → [Location] or [Position] → Set it to "Always Allow".

Q5. Why can't I log in after registering the XC109 or XC209 App?

A5. After registration, you need to check your email inbox for a [confirmation email]. Complete the verification process before logging into the App.

FAQ_[During Use]

Q1. Where is the SOS emergency button located?
A1. On the XC-209 & XC8000, the SOS button is on the black back panel, at the center below the LED light. Press and hold for 3 seconds to activate SOS, causing the LED to flash red and send the signal to the mobile app via Bluetooth4.0 (for XC8000 is sent to communicator via Bluetooth5.0)
Q2. Does the mobile app need to remain open at all times?
A2-1. For caregivers (family members, relatives), the mobile app does not need to be running at all times. In case of an emergency, the alert will trigger a notification message with sound on the caregiver’s phone.
A2-2. For the elderly user's mobile app (XC209), the app must remain running. It can run in the background, but it must not be closed, to ensure that the pendant can transmit alerts to the mobile app.
